If Team Zero has a Johnny player, it would have to be Ryan. His eyes light up like a
6-year-old's on Christmas when he finds the latest, greatest 18-card, 20-mana combo.
Fortunately for Ryan and for the team, he is a competent player, and the craziest of his
combos never make it in to decks. Instead, he satisfies his Johnny urges by including
cards with the best synergy as possible. In limited, for instance, he loves to build slivers
since they all have built-in synergy with each other. Ryan is one of the old school Ground
Zero players - starting back with players like Jason and Phil in the arena days. He has
always been one of the staple players of Team Zero and we expect him to seek an office
sooner or later (just as soon as we can find something he is good at)! Ryan prefers older
formats like vintage or legacy, but plays in just about every tournament. Ryan also likes to
seek out new formats, often creating his own, which turn in to formats played by the team.
Ryan hates net-decking and would rather lose with a horrible deck that he created than
win with someone else's deck.
